{"id":735,"date":"2014-10-03T09:58:05","date_gmt":"2014-10-03T14:58:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/?p=735"},"modified":"2018-03-22T22:02:02","modified_gmt":"2018-03-23T03:02:02","slug":"a-simple-frittata-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/?p=735","title":{"rendered":"A Simple Frittata Recipe *"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pf-content\"><p><a href=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/simple-frittata.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-736\" src=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/simple-frittata-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"simple frittata\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/simple-frittata-800x600.jpg 800w, https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/simple-frittata.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I just made this simple frittata. \u00a0When you feel like taking it easy or avoiding the carbs of a quiche crust, this is perfect. \u00a0There are so many combinations for meats, cheeses, and veggies here, it&#8217;s all up to your preferences. \u00a0This is from my Better Homes &amp; Gardens cookbook. \u00a0<strong>I used chopped cooked ham, swiss and shredded cheddar cheese, and 2 cups mixture of broccoli, and four colors of sweet bell peppers)! \u00a0<\/strong>ENJOY!<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 eggs, lightly beaten<\/li>\n<li>1 T. snipped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp. salt<\/li>\n<li>2 T. olive oil (Use the full amount here)<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups fresh veggies, such as summer squash, broccoli, and\/or sweet peppers.<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup thinly sliced green onions (about 3)**<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup chopped <b>COOKED\u00a0<\/b>ham, kielbasa, chicken or turkey<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss cheese (about 2 oz)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOTE: Onions can bother some people, so tread carefully.
