new pumpkin bread recipe. \u00a0I have a recipe that is eggless but wanted to try one with eggs. \u00a0This one fits the bill and was excellent with a little whip cream on top. \u00a0I reduced the sugar from 3 cups to 2.5 cups (1 cup white, 1.5 cup brown sugar) and it was just sweet enough, but not too sweet. \u00a0I wanted it more on the savory side. \u00a0Also, to make it healthier, I did 1 cup wheat flour and 2.5 cups regular white flour. \u00a0Great recipe!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ingredient-wrap\">\n<li id=\"liIngredient\" data-role=\"recipe-ingredient\" data-ingredientid=\"4808\" data-grams=\"426\">\n<p class=\"fl-ing\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">1 (15 ounce) can<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"ingredient-name\">pumpkin puree<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"liIngredient\" data-role=\"recipe-ingredient\" data-ingredientid=\"16317\" data-grams=\"200\">\n<p class=\"fl-ing\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">4<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"ingredient-name\">eggs<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"liIngredient\" data-role=\"recipe-ingredient\" data-ingredientid=\"6379\" data-grams=\"220\">\n<p class=\"fl-ing\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">1 cup<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"checkbox-formatted\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">1 teaspoon<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"ingredient-name\">ground cinnamon**<\/span><\/span><\/label><\/label><\/li>\n<li id=\"liIngredient\" data-role=\"recipe-ingredient\" data-ingredientid=\"16401\" data-grams=\"3\"><label><label><span class=\"checkbox-formatted\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">1 teaspoon<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"ingredient-name\">ground nutmeg<\/span><\/span><\/label><\/label><\/li>\n<li id=\"liIngredient\" data-role=\"recipe-ingredient\" data-ingredientid=\"16387\" data-grams=\"1.05\"><label><label><span class=\"checkbox-formatted\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">1\/2 teaspoon<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"ingredient-name\">ground cloves**<\/span><\/span><\/label><\/label><\/li>\n<li id=\"liIngredient\" data-role=\"recipe-ingredient\" data-ingredientid=\"16397\" data-grams=\"0.45\"><label><label><span class=\"checkbox-formatted\"><span id=\"lblIngAmount\" class=\"ingredient-amount\">1\/4 teaspoon<\/span> <span id=\"lblIngName\" class=\"ingredient-name\">ground ginger<\/span><\/span><\/label><\/label><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">**Known IC irritants, tread carefully!\u00a0 Check all the spices and make sure they&#8217;re safe for you! To make this safe, omit the cinnamon and only use safe spices.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"plaincharacterwrap break\">Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 7&#215;3 inch loaf pans. \u00a0\u00a0<strong>I just used two standard loaf pans, even though this recipe says three 7&#215;3&#8243; pans.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"plaincharacterwrap break\">In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"plaincharacterwrap break\">In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"plaincharacterwrap break\"> Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Pour into the prepared pans.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"plaincharacterwrap break\">Bake for about 50 minutes in the preheated oven.
