\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/aSAM_0532.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/aSAM_0532-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/aSAM_0533.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-463\" src=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/aSAM_0533-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/aSAM_0533-800x600.jpg 800w, https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/aSAM_0533.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1724405_10203477335283745_250935993_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-458\" src=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1724405_10203477335283745_250935993_n-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"1724405_10203477335283745_250935993_n\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1724405_10203477335283745_250935993_n-800x600.jpg 800w, https:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1724405_10203477335283745_250935993_n.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0I found this recipe at <a href=\"http:\/\/noshwithme.com\/2013\/11\/kit-kat-cake\/#.UyOmIYXDXWU\">NOSHWITHME.COM<\/a>.\u00a0 It was a perfect addition to our birthday parties.\u00a0 It was fun, delicious, and very attractive.\u00a0 Also, it was easy, which is great when you need a break from piping.\u00a0 You can use any colored 2-layer cake, but it&#8217;s preferable to use chocolate frosting so the frosting doesn&#8217;t show through the Kit Kats, believe me. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Two 8\u2033 or 9\u2033 cakes, any flavor\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(I used an eggless wacky cake recipe).<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Chocolate frosting (enough for a 2-layer cake)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>One 12.60 ounce bag of M&amp;Ms (or any candy you want to top it with)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>11-12 full size (not snack size) packages Kit Kats (I bought 5 &#8220;XL&#8221; Kit Kat bars and barely had any leftover.)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Bake cakes and let cool at least an hour, or until room temperature.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Using a cake leveler or serrated knife, level cakes so the tops are no longer domed. (If you are using a serrated knife, it helps to freeze the cake first.)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Separate each Kit Kat so you have sections of two Kit Kats.\u00a0 The original author put them in the fridge first so they wouldn\u2019t melt while I was handling them.\u00a0 I personally think you could also split up all the Kit Kats and not even leave 2-Kit Kat sections, I will try that next time.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Frost the top of one cake, then place the second cake on top of it. Frost the top of the second cake and the sides of the stacked cakes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Place the Kit Kats around the frosted cake, as close together as possible.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You can also tie a ribbon around the cake to keep the Kit Kats from moving. Pour the M&amp;Ms on the top of the cake.
