\u00a0It delivers moist and tangy meatloaf that will make you and your guests want more! \u00a0We used 1\/2 and 1\/2 and I used onion powder. \u00a0I added 3 T. of brown sugar to the top. \u00a0I used 90% lean ground beef. \u00a0I used my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Norpro-Piece-Nonstick-Meatloaf-Bread\/dp\/B0002L0ZMK\/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1405995965&amp;sr=8-5&amp;keywords=meatloaf+pan\">meatloaf pan <\/a>so that the meat doesn&#8217;t sit in all of the oil and juices. \u00a0The meatloaf pan had about 1\/4&#8243; of fat and juices in the bottom. \u00a0I highly recommend that pan! \u00a0Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<\/p>\n<p>Meatloaf:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/2 lbs ground beef (ground shoulder roast is good)<\/li>\n<li>1 slice bread (broken or chopped finely)<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>1 small vidalia onions or 1 small type sweet onion, finely chopped**<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon table salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon black pepper**<\/li>\n<li>4 tablespoons ketchup**<\/li>\n<li>1\/2-2\/3 cup whole milk or 1\/2-2\/3 cup half-and-half<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sauce<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar**<\/li>\n<li>2 -4 tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed firm (to taste)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup ketchup**<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">**Known IC irritants, tread carefully!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS:<\/p>\n<p>Meatloaf:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Spray loaf pan or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Norpro-Piece-Nonstick-Meatloaf-Bread\/dp\/B0002L0ZMK\/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1405995965&amp;sr=8-5&amp;keywords=meatloaf+pan\">meatloaf pan<\/a>. \u00a0Combine meat loaf ingredients and place into a loaf baking dish.<\/li>\n<li>Smooth out top.<\/li>\n<li>Sauce: Combine sauce ingredients and pour on top and sides of meatloaf.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 350\u00b0F about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Other tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The addition of 1 or 2 teaspoons of Kitchen Bouquet\u00ae makes this recipe very good.<\/li>\n<li>Recipe should be&#8221;plump&#8221; from the addition of the milk or Half &amp; Half. \u00a0It should NOT be runny.<\/li>\n<li>A second batch of sauce served hot is good to serve with the meatloaf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.food.com\/recipe\/yes-virginia-there-is-a-great-meatloaf-54257?oc=linkback&quot;&gt;http:\/\/www.food.com\/recipe\/yes-virginia-there-is-a-great-meatloaf-54257?oc=linkback\">Read more about this recipe at Food.com.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; We love this recipe!
