{"id":348,"date":"2013-12-19T20:14:19","date_gmt":"2013-12-20T02:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/?p=348"},"modified":"2013-12-19T20:14:19","modified_gmt":"2013-12-20T02:14:19","slug":"mouthwatering-beer-marinated-beef-roast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/?p=348","title":{"rendered":"Mouthwatering Beer-Marinated Beef Roast"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pf-content\"><p><a href=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/beer-beef-roast-12-2013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"beer-beef-roast-12-2013\" src=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/beer-beef-roast-12-2013.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>I love this recipe.\u00a0 First I thought it was wonderful in the oven, but the second time I made it, I had the idea of putting it in the slow cooker and the result was even better!\u00a0 The slow cooker method is highly suggested!\u00a0 Marinate as long as possible for best flavor, preferably 24 hours in fridge!\u00a0 I used a Boston roast but choose whatever you like!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5 lb. beef rib roast (or Boston roast, or whatever you like)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 12-oz can or bottle beer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 cup honey <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 cup soy sauce (I used reduced sodium)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/4 cup Montreal steak seasoning <a href=\"http:\/\/www.food.com\/recipe\/copycat-mccormick-montreal-steak-seasoning-366083\">(I used the recipe for homemade seasoning HERE, it was A+!)<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2 teaspoons minced garlic (I used garlic powder)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Use a metal skewer to poke some holes throughout the beef roast so marinade can penetrate.\u00a0 (Poke every single side!)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Whisk together beer, honey, soy sauce, Montreal steak seasoning, and garlic in bowl.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pour into a large resealable plastic bag.
