{"id":184,"date":"2013-08-08T16:30:07","date_gmt":"2013-08-08T21:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/?p=184"},"modified":"2018-03-22T21:49:11","modified_gmt":"2018-03-23T02:49:11","slug":"greek-style-grilled-pork-chops-with-marinade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/?p=184","title":{"rendered":"Greek-Style Grilled Pork Chops with Marinade * (Not IC Safe)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pf-content\"><p><a href=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/greekporkchops.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-185\" src=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/greekporkchops-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"greekporkchops\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/greekporkchops-800x600.jpg 800w, http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/greekporkchops-1365x1024.jpg 1365w, http:\/\/tiffanycooks.cyberphreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/greekporkchops.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m not a huge fan of pork, so when I find a pork recipe I love, I really keep it!\u00a0 This is a recipe I love and I think you will too!\u00a0 It is so moist and flavorful, especially because of the quantity of oil used, but you can reduce it somewhat.\u00a0 I could not find white wine Worcestershire sauce, so I used white wine.\u00a0 I replaced the garlic cloves for 1\/2 tsp. garlic powder.\u00a0 It smelled exactly like a restaurant!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"rI\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4-6 pork loin rib chops (about 3\/4 inch thick)<\/strong><strong>For the Marinade:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 cup extra virgin olive oil<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 cup white wine Worcestershire sauce**<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Juice of two large lemons**<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 tbsp. dried oregano<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Salt and freshly ground black pepper**<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS: <\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Whisk marinade ingredients together in a bowl. Place the chops in a shallow pan or other non-reactive container. Pour the marinade over the chops, cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least an hour.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Grill on medium-high heat until desired doneness is reached. On our grill, it usually takes about 6-7 minutes per side. Cooking times will vary.
