October\/November 2016, most likely, edition. \u00a0Makes approximately 24 holes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 3\/4 cup flour<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00a0tablespoons melted butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>Good amount of vegetable oil for frying (a few cups, at least 3-4 cups)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For topping:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Whisk 1 3\/4 cup flour, 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt.<\/li>\n<li>Separately, whisk 1 egg, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1\/2 cup milk, and 1\/2 cup sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Then stir in the flour mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Deep-fry small scoops (I used a cookie scoop) in 350* vegetable oil. \u00a0Turn doughnut holes, until golden, 3-4 minutes. \u00a0Don&#8217;t overcook or they will burn.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer to a wire rack to drain, over paper towels.<\/li>\n<li>Mix 1\/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice. \u00a0Roll doughnut holes in this mixture and set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
